Silanyo Held a Meeting With KULMIYE Party Officials In Hargeisa
Hargeisa, Somaliland (Somaliland Globe)- The leader of KULMIYE party, Ahmed Mohamed Mohamoud Silanyo, held a meeting with senior officials, selected members and supporters of his party to brief them on his recent visit to a number of several European countries and the upcoming presidential election.
The meeting, which was held in Hotel Mansoor, was mainly about the forthcoming presidential election planned for 27 September and the outcome of Silanyo’s meeting with the officials he met in the UK, Sweden and Norway.
Silanyo said all the European officials they had met expressed concerns about any further postponement to the presidential election. He said his delegation impressed upon these officials the dire need for the election to take place as scheduled.
Silanyo urged party members and officials to prepare themselves for the presidential campaign.
“The presidential election time is upon us. A draft campaign strategy will soon be in place but everyone must get ready for the long haul,” said Ahmed Silanyo.
Silanyo accused Dahir Rayale’s government of gross incompetence, road deterioration due to lack of maintenance, lack of water supply in some areas of the capital city, Hargeisa, and total lack of rehabilitation of the existing dilapidated water supply.
